Mini Caprese Pizzas 

Almost a hybrid of traditional Caprese salad and regular pizza, these mini Caprese pizzas are a very special dish. Naan bread rounds (or pita bread rounds if you prefer) are topped with marinara or your favorite pizza sauce and then on top you have Caprese salad ingredients for a perfect flavor. Shredded mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, arugula, fresh basil, a touch of black pepper, and a sweet balsamic glaze make these so delicious.

Snack-sized mini Caprese pizzas have tasty naan bread crusts, marinara pizza sauce and delicious authentic Caprese toppings.

Mini Caprese Pizza Recipe 

Prep time: 10 minutes 
Cook time: 15-20 minutes 
Servings: 6 

Ingredients: 

  • 6 mini naan rounds 
  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara 
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella 
  • ¼ cup cherry tomatoes 
  • ¼ cup arugula 
  • 3-4 basil leaves 
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze 
  • ½ tsp black pepper 

Instructions: 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  2. Slice your cherry tomatoes. 
  3. Place your basil leaves on top of each other, roll them together and cut them thinly. 
  4. Place your mini naan rounds on a baking sheet and evenly divide the pizza sauce over the mini rounds. 
  5. Then evenly divide the shredded cheese, cherry tomatoes, and sliced basil over the mini pizzas.  
  6. Season with black pepper. 
  7. Place in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the edges reach your desired crust. 
  8. Top with balsamic glaze and arugula. 
  9. Enjoy!
